Rapid Prototyping for Fuzzy Systems

چکیده
One of the common problems for fuzzy system implementation arises from the complications of the fuzzy inference process. Extra computations are required to deduce a consequence due to nature of fuzzy sets. Furthermore, considerable simulations need to be performed to verify system functions. In order to reduce the prototyping time, the fuzzy system is partitioned into hardware and software portions. The model, called Fuzzy Rule-based Automata (FRA), is proposed to simplify fuzzy rule base. Since most rule base are rarely changed, they can be implemented in hardware to speedup the running time. Special computations for inference process are taken care by software to reduce complications in hardware which yields prototype exibility. | Rapid Prototyping of complex systems is an important approach in system modeling. Naturally, such systems can be seen as a network of concurrently running communicating objects. An example of such a system in computer integrated manufacturing are exible manufacturing systems (FMS). A FMS consists of concurrently working machines which are connected by a computerized material handling system. ...
متن کاملControl system using HIL, PID and Fuzzy Logic with Rapid Prototyping
Rapid prototyping of embedded systems can emulate different kind of processes, through the mathematical modelling that represent their dynamic characteristics. This make easier to emulate different control strategies, which can interact with the real signals of the embedded process, making a better approach of the real response than a simple simulation. This paper presents the results of the em...

متن کاملRapid Prototyping and Optimization based on Conceptual Specification for Fuzzy Applications
In this paper, a new framework for rapid system design and implementation for fuzzy systems is proposed. The given system specification is separated into two components: a conceptual specification and a parameter specification. The conceptual specification defines the system core, which is rarely changed during the system adjustment and may be implemented in hardware at an early stage of the de...
متن کاملRapid Prototyping for Efficient Simulation of Parameter Sensitive Control Applicationsy
In some applications such as control systems and fuzzy systems, the system behavior and performance depends on certain parameters. These parameters may be real values or functions and can only be chosen after extensive realistic simulations. The traditional rapid prototyping methodology is hard to be used because different sets of parameters give different implementations. We propose a prototyp...
متن کاملReverse Parking of a Model Car with Fuzzy Control
To demonstrate the application of fuzzy control for rapid prototyping and robust performance, we use a 1/10 scaled model car with an onboard microcontroller and sensors for the task of autonomous parking. There is no precise mathematical model of the car’s kinematics and the controller has to cope with heavy sensor uncertainty, imprecise actuators, and a very sketchy world model. We deliberatel...
